I actually think the opposite. A home should work for: • the people living in it • the way the space is used • the architecture of the property itself • and how your life may evolve over time Good design is not about forcing trends or creating a showroom that dates in five years. It’s about creating a home that still feels right twenty years later. But once demolition began we discovered wiring hidden inside the archway that meant the design had to change slightly. It is a good reminder that renovation is always a process of discovery.
