If there’s one room where you can be a little brav If there’s one room where you can be a little braver with design, it’s the guest bathroom. Bold wallpaper, rich colours, statement ceilings, dramatic details… these smaller spaces are perfect for creating something memorable without having to live in it all day every day. I explain why some of the most successful interiors are the ones that surprise people a little. Sometimes the rooms with the biggest personality are the ones guests remember most. As an interior designer living in Mallorca with more than two decades of experience I’ve seen and handled many situations related to the wide variety of building types and challenges on the island. I actually think the opposite. A home should work for: • the people living in it • the way the space is used • the architecture of the property itself • and how your life may evolve over time Good design is not about forcing trends or creating a showroom that dates in five years. It’s about creating a home that still feels right twenty years later.
