Just back in Mallorca from WOW!house at Chelsea Harbour and I’m brimming with inspiration. This extraordinary interior design showcase was full of colour, texture and imagination from so many designers at the top of their game! I’m coming home with plenty of fresh ideas for our projects here in Majorca. It’s amazing to see wallpapers, fabrics and books we have in our Knox Design studio used in such creative ways. I can’t wait to reinterpret these looks and create our own unique Mallorca versions for our clients.

Even something simple like a styled corner with a vase of flowers can boost your mood. Your space really can make you feel better.

Look who popped into Knox Design! Chris and Cher

Look who popped into Knox Design!

Chris and Cheryl were in town and dropped by for a catch-up and a browse! It was such a joy to see them again and hear how much they’re loving their renovated apartment.

Working on their home was an absolute pleasure, and it’s always special when clients become friends.

The aim with their Nova Santa Ponsa apartment was to lighten, brighten, and modernise the space, creating a calm and welcoming home for their multi-generational family. Chris and Cheryl are incredibly close to their children and grandchildren, so it was important to design with that in mind.

We knocked through walls to create a larger, open-plan kitchen with a seating area for the grandchildren, redesigned the bathrooms with suspended storage and walk-in showers, and painted all the woodwork crisp white. Finishing touches included bespoke radiator covers, new wardrobe doors, practical yet stylish fabrics and furnishings – and a few meaningful details, like African artwork in the lounge, to reflect their roots.
